Treat yourself with a rare case of sparkling wines

The Special Club Vintage Champagne always carries its vintage well. It is typically a softer, warmer, more measured style, and makes one anxious for another glass. Always clean and open, it can be consumed when purchased, but it will benefit from at least 3 to 5 more years of ageing. It is perfect for kicking off any meal, but it will also go well with a light appetizer. Seafood especially, such as crab soup and crayfish.

This low intervention champagne is incredibly hard to get hold of, It’s probably our most exciting discovery in Champagne over the past 10 months. The only downside to these wines is their scarcity, as production at Filaine is generally just over 300 cases per vintage.

If the fine and rare side of wine is more your thing, we have the Tenuta Luce della Vite Luce, this wine is a superstar of Tuscany, and a world-class wine too!

Vite Luce 2013 immediately manifests its extraordinary richness with an intense and impenetrable colour coupled with an elegant and complex bouquet. On the nose, aromas are vibrant and vary from red berries, such as cherries and raspberries, to spiced notes enriched by delicate floral undertones. On the palate, the wine distinguishes itself for balance and freshness, persisting aromas, and refined and silky tannins that bestow great structure free from any sharpness.
