Story
Blanche de Cambrai has rich aromas of pale, bready malts with lightly tangy cirtus, apples, and spices. This delicious bottle pours a very hazy, lemon yellow to light brown colour, with on top a thin fizzy, white-collar full of carbon. Tastes of wheat & malt as well as citrus and mild spices, grassy and floral note and a slight hint of bitterness. Moderate sweet and light acetic flavour. Medium palate. Nice fluffy white head bubbles up as it’s poured bust disappears quickly leaving no lacing. Blanche de Cambrai is a great beer to drink chilled on a warm summer day or perfect for burger night!!
In the village of Hordain about fifteen kilometers south of Valenciennes, La Brasserie is one Choulette the last brewery founded North 19 th century and still active. Heir to this rich brewing past, the Brasserie La Choulette has retained the authenticity of a true artisanal production. Today it claims a land: the North. At the Dhaussy’s, the brewery is also a family affair, a profession, a passion transmitted from generation to generation. In 1981, an amber beer was launched, powerful in taste. La Choulette is the name of this beer. A name taken from a traditional and popular game from the North, Choulette or lacrosse-golf game, the origin of which dates back to Antiquity.
