Story
Villarrica Sauvignon Blanc is an attractive pale yellow. Intense expression in aromas of citrus fruits that are linked with pleasant herbaceous notes. Fresh acidity in the mouth, great balance and crispy texture. Long and tasty finish. Serve chilled as an aperitif or with white meats, salad or seafood.
Being in the southern hemisphere, the grapes for Villarrica Sauvignon Blanc were harvested in the middle of April before being brought to the winery. They were pressed lightly to get the best of the juice and maintaining the natural characteristics of the grapes juice and not allowing the bitterness of the seeds and skins to infiltrate the freshness of the juice. After a gentle pressing, they were cold-soaked for three days to allow the juice to develop in flavour before the fermentation took place. The juice then went through a cold fermentation.
The grapes were grown in the Valle Central on clay soils with some gravel with the vines being trellised using VSP
