CHAMPAGNE RENE JOLLY BLANC DE NOIR NV

This complex yet traditional Champagne made from pure pinot noir is fruity and elegant. On the nose, it displays delicious toasty richness, intense zesty aromas and perfect balance. The finish on the palate is smooth, round and rich making this style of Champagne mouth-filling and vibrant. Serve either on its own as a welcome. Christmas party refreshment or paired with canapés, shellfish such as lobster or even delicious mild and soft cheeses for that after dinner cheeseboard.

ALLRAM GRUNER VELTINER HASEL 2018

This Gruner Veltliner has a delicate and peppery aroma with refreshing citrus notes, flint, pear and warm spice. Charming and light on the palate, combining citrus pith, yeast and salt with a clean and elegant finish. Pair with seafood, roast pork or veal, roast chicken and Christmas cheeseboards, especially with goat’s cheese or young pecorino.

DOMAINE DES MALANDES CHABLIS 2018

This crisp, fresh, unoaked Chablis poses aromas of fresh fruit, in particular peaches, citrus tones and richness together with that classic minerality characteristic. The palate reveals flavours such as lemon, green apple, grapefruit and white peach with an engaging liveliness and a refreshing flinty finish. Suited best as an aperitif or served with light shellfish such as crab, lobster or with canapés.

JORDAN COBBLERS HILL 2015

This Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and  Cabernet Franc blend is deep in colour, and rich on the palate. Layered with intriguing and opulent flavours including Sichuan pepper and blackcurrants, the 24-month barrel ageing adds viscosity and tertiary notes to the finish such as spice and leather. This rich and lavish wine would be best suited to roast lamb, chicken, beef, venison or even the Christmas turkey.

FÜRST PINOT NOIR TRADITION 2018

This light and perfumed German Pinot Noir is pale in colour with a slightly greyish garnet. With red fruit such as strawberry, raspberry and cherry prominent on the nose, this is typical of a traditional pinot noir. Earthy notes such as smoke, mushroom and meaty flavours can be detected by both nose and palate as well as hints of oak. Best matched with game such as venison, roast beef, chicken or turkey.

STANTON & KILLEEN CLASSIC MUSCAT NV

This Australian Rutherglen Muscat is like dark, caramelised butter with aromas of Turkish delight, tobacco and espresso. Balanced and complex on the palate, flavours of rich raisin fruit, dried fig and cumquat poise perfectly with the delicate hint of rose petal. The finish is long but not too sweet. An ideal after Christmas dinner drink, perfectly pairing with the rich spices of Christmas pudding or Christmas cake.
