Story

Kamara Estate Pure Stalisma White is a light yellow colour, with its base unique standing out it is a bottle for high-quality wines. When you smell it, you can easily descry citrus fruits and bergamot scents, with a nice jasmine feeling and herbal characteristics(yarrow, wild herbal). In the end, it leaves you with the scent of green apple and lime. It is a wine for those who can wait, which aromas are highlighted after a while and last for a long time. After tasting it there is a long-lasting metallicity (as a result of Xinomavro), with a diffuse mineral and an amazing feeling a saltiness.

The Stalisma White from the Kamara Estate is the story of Kioutsoukis family (Dimitrios, Eleftheria and their children). Dimitrios Kioutsoukis with his family assistance and inspiration planted 11 hectares of vines in northern Greece near Thessaloniki, an area well known from ancient times for its wines. Dimitrios (a chemical engineer – UC Davis winemaking) and his daughter Stavroula ( an agronomist – oenologist) carrying on the family tradition and passionate about permaculture principles use more than organic methods in viticulture and winemaking. Their main goal is to give birth to wines versatile, unique that express both their philosophy and the terroir. Seeking the real taste of the life they created the Kamara pure wines, low intervention wines (natural wines).
