Kamara Estate Pure Nimbus Ritinitis is a bright yellow to amber colour with an Intense nose that has emerging aromas of thyme, lavender, oregano and minimal pine. Herbal and vegetal notes on the palate, with a lovely soft expression of bergamot and kumquat along with pine and thyme. There is a balanced acidity with a fruity and herbal feeling in the long-lasting aftertaste. Retsina is a fairly unique flavour, you should only really want to try it if you have had it before, or if you’re adventurous.

The Nimbus Ritinitis is a retsina made on the Kamara Estate. The story of Kioutsoukis family (Dimitrios, Eleftheria and their children). Dimitrios Kioutsoukis with his family assistance and inspiration planted 11 hectares of vines in northern Greece near Thessaloniki, an area well known from ancient times for its wines. Dimitrios (a chemical engineer – UC Davis winemaking) and his daughter Stavroula ( an agronomist – oenologist) carrying on the family tradition and passionate about permaculture principles use more than organic methods in viticulture and winemaking. Their main goal is to give birth to wines versatile, unique that express both their philosophy and the terroir. Seeking the real taste of the life they created the Kamara pure wines, low intervention wines (natural wines).
