Story
Domaine de la Courtade, L’Alycastre Rosé 2019 is a blend of Rolle, Mouvedre, Grenache, and Syrah. Named after a mythical dragon, this wine is less fiery and more fruity. With a biodynamic approach, Domaine de la Courtade finds the importance of respecting the soil and the natural cycle of the vineyard to ensure each wine has a well structured and varied aromatic palate. This rosé is very fruity with a soft, light texture and a spicy aftertaste. Perfect for a takeaway curry night or the first barbecue of the summer!
Domaine de la Courtade is a jewel of Provence, located in the heart of a unique and exceptional setting: the island of Porquerolles, 1,250 hectares of breathtakingly beautiful nature 15 kilometres from the mainland facing Hyères. Born in 1983 under the leadership of Henri Vidal, the estate was taken over in 2014 by Edouard Carmignac. A true wine and art enthusiast, he then undertook a vast program to revive the estate and the vineyard. The vineyard is restructured with 8 hectares of vines replanted, and the cultivation of the vines already in organic is now carried out according to the principles of biodynamics. A true place of life and sharing, the La Courtade estate now includes a contemporary art museum supported by the Carmignac Foundation.
