Frosé

frose wine cocktail

What a better way to enjoy a garden party than with a glass of Frosé in your hand! This wine cocktail is very easy to make and can be a perfect refreshment, especially during hot, summer days. What is so great about this cocktail is that you can prepare a few batches of frozen rosé, so you do not have to be afraid that you will run out of your favourite cocktail!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle rich, bold rosé wine
  • 300gr fresh strawberries
  • 50gr caster sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon

Preparation:

Open up your bottle of rosé and pour it in a large tin. If you do not have a tin, you can use different ice cube trays or molds, depending what you have at hand. Once you pour your wine, carefully place your tin in the freezer and let it freeze overnight. If you forgot to put it the night before, do not worry as you can do it in the morning – just make sure that your rosé stays in the freezer for at least 6 hours.

The next day, mix strawberries and sugar together and let them rest for half an hour, so there is enough time for strawberries to start releasing their juices.

In a blender, add your frozen rosé, strawberries and lemon juice until you get the desired consistency. Pour it in glasses and serve your friends this tasty, refreshing summer wine cocktail.
